Last Thursday, the CEO of one of the most successful businesses in the world announced his resignation. Steve Jobs the co-founder of Apple is signing off to a new era. Jobs has been on sick leave since January of this year and has told the press, “"I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple's CEO, I would be the first to let you know."
Steve Jobs has given businesses, technology and this country so much. He has been called, "the world's magic man." But why is it that he has been so successful? Well, Jobs makes his path the triumph very clear in his 2005 commencement speech for Stanford University, he will not settle, and he will always love what he does.
“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.”
